Boy of the year! + Tokio Hotel triumph in America!
Not so long time ago we came with idea „Boy of the year“ where you had to vote for your most favorite stars and we promised special material about the winner. Popcorn keep their promise. On first place was Bill from Tokio Hotel and here is some actual special about him and all news around Tokio Hotel. And what will be next time? On the second place is actor Wentworth Miller and you will read something about him in next issue. Beautiful third place has Zac Efron from High School Musical and you will find something about him in other issue.

New York, Chicago, Los Angeles – american teenagers are crushed into Bill and co.! But in their homeland are turning their fans to them by back...
„Ladies and gentleman, please welcome Tokio Hotel from Germany!“ You can’t hear anything in the studio because of crazy scream. Girls are screaming, keeping their posters, some of them have tears in the eyes. Conan O’Brien in his Late-Night-Show had never so big happiness for german band. „Unbeliavable,“ mumble for himself and turn his head. Already three days before this show were there fans. There were crowd of fans in front of studio for more than two blocks. But only 120 fans had luck and get inside. America has real Tokio Hotel fever! It can be performance, autogramme session or radio interview – all pictures are the same: everywhere are hysterical fans, closed streets! Bill, Tom, Georg and Gustav really made it. Nobody believed it – Tokio Hotel made absolutely storm in America! They are already on titles of some magazines, they have special fans (Jay-Z or Nicole Scherzinger from Pussycat Dolls) and they should have tour with Jonas Brothers on autumn – unbeliavable start in country of all possibilities. Such popularity didn’t singer of band even seen in his dreams. Bill: „A long time ago I sat at home in front of posters of famous stars and I told to myself how it would be if person would be such superstar. But that I could get so far, I even didn’t dream about this!“ But international success has also black sides: in their homeland Germany are loosing Tokio Hotel their popularity and their favor go down. Critics are bigger, many people who supported them showed already to band their backs in anger and first fanclubs are closing. And Tokio Hotel unfortunately are doing nothing to get their fans back. New single or album are not in plan for the soonest future. Instead of that they are playing concerts in abroad like America. New album of TH should be born in the beginning of 2009 – for many fans unfortunately too late!

„The most hurt me divorce of my parents in my life. I was seven and I really couldn’t understand it. It influenced me really a lot. My biological father is truck driver and live in Hannover.“
„School is too less individual. For what I have to learn math when I know that I will never in my entire life need it? I had always horrible marks from musical lessions because I had to sing horrible folk music. It was horror!“
„Nobody can explain how close we are with Tom. We have the same ideas and we have also many time the same dreams!“

No hace mucho tiempo vinimos con la idea “Chico del año” donde teniais que votar por vuestras estrellas favoritas y prometimos material especial del ganador. Popcorn mantiene su promesa. En primer lugar estaba Bill de Tokio Hotel y aquí está algún especial actual sobre él y todas las noticias en torno a Tokio Hotel. Y qué será la próxima vez? En segundo lugar está el actor Wentworh Miller y leeréis algo sobre él en el próximo número. En el bonito tercer lugar está Zac Efron de High School Musical y encontrareis algo sobre el en otro número.

New York, Chicago, Los Angeles – las adolescentes americanas están enamoradas de Bill y compañía!. Pero en su patria, sus fans les están volviendo la espalda…
“Damas y caballeros, por favor demos la bienvenida a Tokio Hotel desde Alemania”. No puedes oir nada en el estudio a causa de los locos gritos. Las chicas están gritando, manteniendo sus posters, algunas de ellas tienen lágrimas en los ojos. Conan O’Brien en su Late-Night-Show nunca había tenido tan gran felicidad por una banda alemana. “Increíble” murmura para sí mismo y gira su cabeza. Ya tres dias antes del show había fans allí. Había una multitud de fans en frente del estudio de más de dos bloques. Pero sólo 120 fans tuvieron suerte y entraron. América sufre una real fiebre de Tokio Hotel! Ya sea la actuación, sesión de autógrafos o entrevistas en la radio – todas las imágenes son las mismas: en todos los sitos hay fans histéricas, cerrando las calles! Bill, Tom, Georg y Gustav realmente lo hacen. Nadie lo cree – Tokio Hotel ha causado una absoluta tormenta en América! Ellos ya están en los títulos de algunas revistas, tienen fans especiales (Jay – Z o Nicole Scherzinger de las Pussycat Dolls) y ellos deberían hacer una gira con los Jonas Brothers en otoño – increíble inicio en el país de las oportunidades. Esa popularidad no se la imaginaba el cantante de la banda ni vista en sus sueños. Bill: “hace mucho tiempo me senté en casa en frente de posters de estrellas famosas y me dije a mi mismo cómo debería ser si fuera esa superestrella. Pero que yo pudiera conseguirlo, aún ni soñaba con esto!”
Pero el éxito internacional tiene también un lado oscuro: en su patria, Alemania, Tokio Hotel está perdiendo popularidad y favoritismo. Las críticas son cada vez más grandes, mucha gente q les apoyaba ya les han vuelto la espalda con ira y los primeros fanclubs están cerrando. Y Tokio Hotel desafortunadamente no están haciendo nada para hacer q sus fans vuelvan. Nuevo single o album no están planeado para un futuro próximo. En lugar de ello ellos están dando conciertos en el extranjero, como en América. Un nuevo album de Tokio Hotel debería llegar para principios del 2009 – para algunas fans, desafortunadamente demasiado tarde!

“Lo que más daño me ha hecho en mi vida ha sido el divorcio de mis padres. Yo solo tenia 7 años y realmente no podia entenderlo. Eso me influenció mucho. Mi padre biológico es camionero y vive en Hannovew.”
“La escuela es poco individual. Para qué tengo que aprender matemáticas cuando sé que nunca en toda mi vida las voy a necesitar? Siempre sacaba muy malas notas en las clases de música porque tenía que cantar horrible música folklorica. Era un horror!”
“Nadie puede explicar la cercanía que tngo con Tom. Tenemos las mismas ideas y también hemos tenido muchas veces los mismos sueños!”
